Social Media Giveaway Official Rules

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

Participation is free. Making a purchase does not increase your chances of winning.

2. ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of California and Texas. Participants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Employees of Connected Technology, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

3. PROMOTION PERIOD

The promotion begins on April 17, 2025 and ends on May 29, 2025. One winner will be selected each week during this 6-week campaign.

4. HOW TO ENTER

Each week, one of Connected Technology’s social media posts (Facebook or Instagram) will be designated as the giveaway post. To enter:

  •  Like the designated giveaway post
  • Comment according to that week’s instructions (e.g., tag a friend, answer a question, etc.)
  • Optional: Share the post to your story and tag @ConnectedTechnology for a bonus entry
  • Each participant may enter once per week per platform, plus one bonus entry if shared.

5. ALTERNATIVE METHOD OF ENTRY

To enter without using social media, send an email to office@connected-technology.com with the subject line “EV Charger Giveaway Entry” and include your full name, phone number, and email address. Limit one entry per person per week.

6. PRIZE

Each week, two (2) winners will receive a $100 gift card.  One will be drawn for Connected Technology (CA) and one will be drawn for Connected Technology DFW, LLC (TX).

The total value of all prizes is $1200.  Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash.

7. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries for that week. Winners will be notified via direct message on the social media platform used to enter or via email for alternative entries. If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, an alternate winner will be selected.

8. PUBLICITY

By entering, participants grant Connected Technology the right to use their name, likeness, and entry content for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

9. PRIVACY

Information collected from participants is subject to Connected Technology’s Privacy Policy, available at Connected-Technology.com/Privacy.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Connected Technology is not responsible for:

  • Incorrect or inaccurate information

  • Technical failures of any kind

  • Unauthorized human intervention or any other error that may occur in the administration of the promotion

11. DISPUTES

This contest is governed by the laws of the State of California and the State of Texas. By participating, entrants agree that all disputes arising out of or relating to this giveaway shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action.
