Materials Procurement Specialist

Thank you for considering Connected Technology! We are currently looking for the right individual to join our team as a Materials Procurement Specialist. This person will have a blend of electrical or trade background, inventory management, organization, have great attention to detail, and time management skills. This is not an entry-level position and does require at least 3-4 years in the trades/inventory industry or applicable experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work flexible hours when needed and be a part of a family-owned, passionate company looking to take the next step in the home service industry. The shift is Monday – Friday, with a flexible shift available. Pay is D.O.E.

What education and experience do I need? 

We are happy to consider any education and experience level, as long as you have industry experience. Ideally, the right applicant will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3-4 years in the workforce. 

What will I be responsible for? 

You will be responsible for the setup and organization of the Shop’s inventory. You will set up your organization system your way in order to maximize your efficiency. You will be setting up material lists and bins for the next day’s and upcoming days’ jobs for the technician. We are looking to streamline our procurement and distribution system to help our field staff’s efficiency. You will work with the operations manager to determine material location, orders needed, upcoming job needs, special order materials, and any other material needs. This job will also include delivery of parts to job sites, taking direction directly from technicians on immediate needs, and updating your delivery time frames.
