How to Send Us Your PG&E Electrical Usage Data

Log into your account.  Click on “Energy Usage Details” as shown below.

On the next page, view your usage in kWh for each month by hovering over it. Copy that information and enter it onto your estimate request.  Please do not include cost information.

If you’d prefer to send us your data as a spreadsheet, follow the steps below.  

1.  Select your data

You may have to scroll down a bit to see a link that says “Green Button” on the bottom right corner.  Click on this.

Then scroll down a bit and enter a few things in the “Download my data” area. Please select “CSV” and “export usage for a range of days.” Then, enter the dates for the last 365 days. So, for example, 2/26/22 to 2/26/23.

Once you press “Export” it will download a .zip file.  

2. Save Your File on Your Computer

The important thing is that at the top, identify which folder the new file will export to.  Many people select “Downloads” but it doesn’t matter; you just need to note which folder it’s in so you can find the file in the next step.

Open the folder where it’s saved to ensure you can easily find it.

3. Send Us the File

If You’re Uploading Your File to Our Website Form

Click “choose file.”   Your computer may not automatically open the correct folder.  You may have to navigate to the right folder in the dialogue box.  Look for the name of the file you downloaded and click on “attach.”

If You’re Attaching Your File to an Email

Click on “attach file” in your email program.  Your computer may not automatically open the correct folder.  You may have to navigate to the right folder in the dialogue box.  Look for the name of the file you downloaded and click on “attach.”

How to Send Us Your SMUD Electrical Usage Data

Sign into your account and go to SMUD Energy Tools – Usage Details.

Select Energy Use (see top left), and Year View on the drop-down as shown below.

How to Send Us Your Roseville Electrical Usage Data

Login to your Roseville Electric Account.

Step 1

From the Account Details Page, look to the last category, “Location Services.”  Choose “Average Daily Consumption” for electric service.
